This is completely off topic here but i live in Germany and need to ship my German Shepherd home with me (by chance im hoping someone has done this or maybe works for the airlines) i am torn between the correct size kennel i need for her. An Xl is what they say but then ive read she needs a Giant because she needs two inches of room about her ears when she stands! im confused anyone have any input? Sorry ive been googling and can not find a solid answer.

I don't know about size, but my step-son had to move his dog from the U.S to England. The crate needed to be big enough that he could rotate inside, but not much bigger than that.

be sure she is medicated and ask about what the temperature control is in the storage she will be in.

Make sure EVERYONE knows your baby is on that plane somewhere. I dont want to be Nellie Negative, But I have heard horror stories. ! Check out The "cargo Hold" Will some one make sure they have water and food. !!!!!!!!!!!

we flew over here with our jack russell and they do i made sure of that lol my dogs are like my babies!! they give u a ticket and once i got on the plane they call below and make sure

I can't recomend which size kennel would be best but my hubby spent 40 years in the airline industry and has more stories then you can imagine of people going the extra miles or two for animals....you can be sure that people will love them along the way and make sure that are as comfortable as possible. I always taped a note to the crate...My name is Maggie...I love people and am safe to pet. Good luck.
