For whatever reason I have no energy lately I go tomorrow so I can get my vitamin levels checked but I feel so drained! I'm 5 months post op down 68 pounds feeling good just exhausted lately :/

It is always good to get your blood work checked out first. I think lack of energy is pretty common. It has been 11 years since my surgery and I still have days and even weeks where I have no energy. There could be several different reasons for this but I think if your blood work is ok then you are ok. You have just had a huge wt. loss in a short amount of time which is a very big adjustment to your overall body. The decreased amount of food and fluids I think can play a part as well. I do not know if you exercise or not but that is good to increase energy levels and that is if you have the energy to begin it. LOL. Just remember that everyone reacts differently and what works for one may not work for u and some may not experience the fatigue (I find hard to believe) but that does not mean there is something wrong with you. Keep up the good work. It is a long road ahead but is well worth it. Hugs to you my friend..

Thank you! I do exercise and after the first month I felt like I had more energy than before but now I'm moody emotional and tired lol Thank you so much for posting here though its great to see Someone that had the surgery and be post op for the Time frame you have. Congrats and keep up the great work!

Hey Mora - make sure you get your thyroid checked too. GPS has done a number on my thyroid levels and that could contribute to lethargy

Mora I am just over three months and feel the same way some days... I am sooooooooooooo moody at times and just can't do much more than sit at my computer...
I know I feel better when I exercise, or have to do something... I guess I need that little push....
I just had my vitamin levels checked today as well... So will be interesting to see what comes up.. .. I went to my pcp and he is doing the tests... He is very thorough so I wanted his opinion as well...

Hang in there... Like rjzh says: we have been through a lot, and still have a ways to go... Our body is adjusting to so many things....

Hi. I hope you begin to feel better. Like others have said your body is adjusting to a huge weight loss in a short time. Though that's good I would imagine one may feel lethargic. Keep us posted please. You're in my prayers.
