Good morning all. I'm making preparations for my surgery on friday (yay) and I need to know where I can find Nioxin shampoo.

Any ideas?

If you are talking about minoxidil, you can get the women s stuff by the brand Equate at Wal-mart for a decent price. I hope you are talking about the hair regrowth system. I started it before my surgery.

nioxin is found in buauty stores or salons if you have a friend who is a hair dresser ask them to take u to the beauty store and you will get a discount

if you have a friend that does hair ask them to take you with them when they go to the supply store. I got it amazingly cheaper going there with my sister. mzgomez has got the idea =) I dont know that it "helps" but I'm three months and notice no difference (so i consider that a good thing) and it makes my hair sooooo soft and shiny.

Hair loss is a result of low protein, poor nutrition and clogged follicles. I used Tea Tree Oil (which cleanses and opens up the follicles), Celebrate Bariatric Vitamins (stronger than reg to account for malabsorption, Biotin, and Omega 3's). My nails and hair have grown beatifully!

I recently had all my lab work done and my surgeon told me my levels "were beautiful." Even so, I am starting to see long hair in my comb. Not going to panic, but I am going to buy some of that shampoo.

i really havent had much hair loss i take 5000mg biotin a day im 5 months out so far so good!

I'm wondering if there is some confusion in 'Nioxin" shampoo and the 'special' soap like hiibiclens or other soaps that we were to bathe in several times before surgery.

@fatmans, I was looking for the shampoo. I was told dial or safegaurd soap the morning of surgery. No mention of any 'special' soap. I figure why stress out my hair from the outside as well as the inside.
