I'd be cautious trying new food at a party. It would suck to get sick or spend an hour with the foamies!!
Deviled eggs
Shrimp
Chicken wings (my program allowed fish and fowl after 1 week and I never had any problems with chicken - I only swallow what chews to a liquid. I could eat, like 1 wing early outnow I can eat 2-3. LOL).
Enjoy the people. Enjoy the smells of the food. You don't need to eat the food in order to have a great time - the surgery has freed you from that!! And just think, you will probably be the only person at the party who isn't stuffed by the end of the night and isn't afraid to face the scale the next day!!
Worth it!! I promise!!

I had my first outing , out to dinner, and had 1 ounces of salmon, and 1 ounce of mashed potates...with a few pea's, and I mean like 2 peas, LOL!!
It's ok, but it still fills me up, and the salmon was SOOO tender!!
I can go out to eat at restaurant!! ANd Appleby's was amazing, making the "adjustments", that I asked for with my meal!
