So nice to see you again! Where HAVE you been? How have you been? I'm great, as I made my weightloss goal on Sunday, exactly one year out from my RNY gbs! Still can't believe it, it's surreal!

Congrats! I am doing okay. September 14 was a year for me. i went for an ultrasound today to see if i am having gallbladder problems. what date was your surgery? i thought yours was close to when mine was.

@ Purplerella...my RNY was September 23, 2011. Do you have any news about your gall bladder? That stuff is painful! I had mine out about 4 years ago. 25 gallstones and one of them was causing all that trouble. Emergency lapro for me that day.

Thank you, tornadoladi! I have a hard time with the transformation, so the more I look at these, the more real the past year becomes. Sure do hate that it took me so long to admit that I needed medical intervention if things were going to improve!

i have not gotten the results back yet--hopefully tomorrow. sorry you had such a problem with yours. those attacks are painful. i will let you know my results.

Thanks for the "yippee" :). Looking back, for me it wasn't the going through the time that was difficult. Overall, I had a pretty smooth time of it. It's the acceptance of what has really happened that has my emotions and thoughts flying all over the place. I figured that that would happen at periods during the time I was losing. Seems like it ALL waited until now to cut loose.

Wow. I didn't mean to unload here this morning. It's a good thing I see my shrink this afternoon! :)
