Does anybody get this at home?
This morning I was having scrambled egg, low fat cream cheese and a thin slice of Hollywood Whole wheat toast for breakfast. which by the way I intend to share with a hungry 3 year old
My friend came in and scowled at me saying "Oh I see you are hungry this morning"
This person and some people believe I have the stomach of a squirrel and that I should never get hungry.
This is a man who weighs 140 (20 pounds less than me) and refuses to eat his 3 meals a day even though he has been doctor ordered to do so.
I am just so upset right now.
Why does everyone think they are entittled or invited to comment on my meals or even the fact that I am merely having my breakfast?

The fork it is!! I love that!! I know how frustrating it is... I am only a 5 weeks out and live with the food police.... the only person I seem to tolerate is my hubby. I know when he asks it is out of love and most of the time he is being curious as it is a learning curve for both of us. But, ugh!! Please if you measured it ....it would fit in half a cup!! They would starve to death.... lol... loved this post :)

LOL.. what a fool.. ... my husband looks at me and says you going to eat all of that? it is joke between us because my eyes is always bigger then my stomach now... I seldom can eat what I put on my saucer.. just because it is on your plate doesn't mean you are going to eat it all.. I would be HAPPY if I could eat a egg , piece of whole wheat toast and cream cheese without getting sick.... But It would make me mad if someone commented on it... Next time tell him "Not only am I going to eat it.. I am going to poop it later today.. just like anyone else would.. Do you want to see that too?"

I dont know why people feel they have a right to say anything about your eating habits or plans - it really isnt any of his business. I think its the snarky way these comments comes across that are so annoying ... Like this person has ANY RIGHT to comment on what you decide to eat. Whatever.

I posted a rant about something similar not too long ago ... and I totally feel you on this - I would like certain people to leave me be and let me live my life. I dont have to talk about my GBS, I dont have to give you the nutrition and calorie rundown and I am not some circus side show freak, which is how it sometimes makes me feel.

Perhaps suggesting that he address his own food issues before thinking he can speak to your diet? That would put it right back on him, and appropriately so.
