I had my pre-op yesterday. it was so long. I was there from 11am till about 4pm. I met with the surgeons asstiant an met with the dietiton an had blood work done an met with the anesthesia person, an was giving 3 vitiamins to take. an met with a lady who was in charge of the nurses she was very rude. she said that I was the biggest the hospital has ever done an my mom told the dietion an she told the dr asstiant an they were not happy an said no I was not the biggest they have ever done. they did someone over 1200 pounds. we waited about a half hr to meet the anestesia person because they didnt let her know we were there. an the one lady that was takening my info like what meds I take an all was kinda rude. an I had to register for my surgery next week. an we waited about an hr for even the dr asstiant to come in. I have been to this hospital before an love it. I am very excited for surgery.
Keep you eye on the prize! This surgery can be the start of a wonderful new life. Put up with some crap if you have to, but remember the end goal is a newer healthier you.
