I love yoga and pillates for the ease and control of movements. I feel so strong. I need to get my muscles toned before I can really work up to aerobics and such. Also found a lot of options on our local Cable OnDemand on ExercizeTV to try out mini routines. My kids even join in, and I don't get so tired and sweaty that I can't keep up. I like the low impact stuff for now since I'm still hanging around 280, my knees and ankles can't take a lot of bouncing around.
My advice, is to think about fun activities and do those things. Hope that helps and Good Luck!!!!

I use be a person that never got out of bed before 8:00am, so I made a drastic change and get up every morning at 6:00am a go for a 3 mile walk. It started with 15 minutes a day and now I do 3 to 5 miles per day. I'm done by 7:30am and full of energy!!
Remember it only takes 21 days to change a habit...
I also enjoy yoga, which I discovered 6 years ago. It doesn't feel like a workout but believe me it does make a difference. I invested on a video called AM/PM yoga which is about $13.00 and do it every morning. It only takes 15 minutes and the benefits are amazing.
Don't think of excersice as a task, think of it as a YOU time.
Also, I've downloaded some workout music into my ipod from Self Magazine, itunes and other sites and are great motivators.
Another tool is to use sites like Self Magazine and join them for free. You can log your daily food journal and your workouts, set goals and see how much you advance. I get daily motivation and tips to my cell phone from them.
