for years I have been on medication for acid reflux and have had terrible heartburn. well, I ran out of my medication and it costs me $87 a month to refill. so I thought I would see how I would do without it. ive been off it for 3 days and no heartburn. not even when I eat tomatoes. doc repaired a hiatal hernia during my surgery. she said that was most likely the cause of the reflux. guess she was right! hope I continue on without meds!!
its kinda a lame nsv. but its my first since my surgery 2 weeks ago.

Getting off meds is awesome! Nothing lame about it :) :) And heck, 80+ bucks a month in savings.... that is pretty cool too! (stash it for some new clothes soon!)

NOT LAME AT ALL! Acid reflux is miserable! I got off my meds too but started taking them again in hopes it would help my nausea. Have not had reflux since before the pre surgery liquid diet stage! Congrats on your NSV!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
