Good morning guys. I have already walked 4 laps around the hospital floor and feel great. I don't have any pain and am burping up what little gas I have. The nurses said gas might come later because everyone is different. Can't wait to get some liquids in me though. How.are you.guys doing today?

Good morning, Lady!! The gas hit me about the middle of the day after surgery...lodged right under my shoulder blade. Ouch!! Keep up on your pain meds, walk, walk, sip, sip, rest!! You are going to be a rockstar!!

Great job! Keep up the laps. As for me, I didn't do so well. I cried everytime they wanted me to walk. Keep up the energy and you will do well. So proud on you!

Glad to hear your surgery went good and you are up and walking. Walking is the best thing you can do. I walked alot when I was in the hospital and it did help me. Keep up the great work!

Sounds like you're off to a great start! This thing really is a day by day thing. For me, the challenge has been (and still is) getting in 64oz of liquid and 70 grams of protein. Come he** or high water, TAKE YOUR VITAMINS!!! and follow your dr instructions to the "T". You will see yourself changing on a daily basic mentally and physically.

Great to know that you are doing well and moving around. Walking is important. You have inspired me today to get on my bowflex which I've adjusted for walking mode. Good job!!!:)
