Wow I just realized how completely close I am and i need someone to slap me because I can't breath. I spoke to one of my neighbor support group members today and she said once i see the nutritionist on the 22nd I could potentionally be having my surgery in 7 days, She said you will be able to call your the surgeons secretary either the same day or next business day and make an appointment to sign the second set of papers then you attend a class the day before the surgery and viola your in. She said she only had to do 2 days liquid diet and she had her surgery within 7 days after her last appointment. My head started spinning and i couldn't catch my breath to think that I am finally that close and could potently have my surgery sometime around my birthday March 4. OMG, somebody please slap me NOW!!!!!! Excited and a bundle of nerves all at the same time.

Yeaaaaa... Excited for you. I know it's scary! FYI - they can give you stuff four your nerves while you are in hospital waiting for surgery! I was freaking out with nerves but I am so glad I stuck it out. Now I am obsessed with researching plastic surgery lol And I am sure that when the time comes I will be freaked out again!

Yay Tami! You are so ready. I wasn't very emotional on the prep journey, but when I got my date for surgery I was weepy! A combination of excitement, joy ( I felt like my insurance might deny me) and fear. I know your faith and support system will get you through these final steps!

Hey Meltdown...you are a strong, motivated woman. Having a meltdown now is reasonable. You have been given the ability to conquer and overcome. We all had and have our moments, when you feel that reality slap....that's when you release all those negative feelings, fears or worries and let them go. You have power and authority, feelings, fears and emotions do not control you. I am praying for you.....You got the Power! Lol.....Blessings

I know what you mean about losing your breath etc. I was waiting for my last nut appointment date to arrive and the day before my surgeon's office called out of the blue and said she was sending in my paperwork for approval. Within 12 hours she called me back to say I was in and what date did I want?

It comes so fast once that part is done, it seems lik eit was yesterday I was saying 1 month guys! Now I have 2 days!!

You are ready for this adventure...all the right reasons...you can do this
