So my friend was cleaning out her closet this weekend and had a bunch of smaller clothes for me to pick what I wanted from. This included 2 pairs of pants, sizes 8 and 10. I looked at them and was like there's NO way those are gonna fit me, but I'll take them and try them anyway, if you insist.
I get home and am trying on various things, and got to the pants.. and I say to myself, let's get this over with, I'm not even gonna get them past my hips.. grumble grumble. So I grab the 10's and pull them up, past hips and all, and fasten them, and they fit! I'm doing my happy dance and pick up the 8's and I'm like I KNOW these won't fit, but here goes nothing... I pulled them on, they went over my thighs and hips, and I was able to fasten them and zip them up! OMFG! an 8!! They were a little tight, and I wouldn't wear them without a long shirt that covers my pelvic area where my little apron sits, but THEY FIT! WOW!
I am just amazed. I thought I was doomed to be stuck in a 12/14 because of my 'birthing hips' lol. I just can't believe it! The last time I was a size 8.. I was probably 8! Even at age 14 I was in a size 12/14. Unbelieveable! YAY ME!
PS. I was thinking these have to be vanity sized.. there's no way I'm in 8 or 10.. but a lady from work brought me 3 pairs of size 10 jeans that were too long for her, different brands, and they all fit, and were even a little loose. So it must be true.. I'm pinching myself here, seriously!

Rhonda, too funny! LOL One day you'll be posting the same thing! I don't live on the same street at KK, I live off of Rangeline/434, not far from her house though. I'm not sure if I know Carol the artist. I know a couple of Carol's... Message me more details. :D
Losingweight - your goal will be 14/16 before you know it.. you can do it!!

"I'm not sure about guy sizes, but I think maybe they're doubled girl sizes? So a 14/16 would be a 28/32? Makes sense! Either way you'll be doing your own happy dance! :D
