A cup of Chicken broth helps. If you close your eyes, and use your imagination you can convince your self it is chick soup. :) It seems hard, but it prepares you for after. 4 weeks post op, you will be thinking how easy the pre op part was. :) When you get hungry dream about melting pounds. Because they are already melting, and soon will be like ice on a hot sidewalk.
For me the first few days were the hardest to do, after that I honestly was not hungry! It was all a head game.
@Becca--I dreaded starting this on a Friday but I have actually done very well...I got a really bad headache yesterday and was glad to be home where I could lay down and rest
