Try a bite and see if your tummy likes it. If not you may need to wait and try it later. The first time I tried it my tummy was not happy, a month later and I was fine and now I eat it all the time.

what i do when i need a salad on the go is ask the restaurant to chop all the ingredients into small pieces for me - my niece is a chef and she said because of certain surgeries and dental work most restaurants are willing to chop the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber etc., into eraser size pieces and you know what they did - it made eating and digesting the salad much more easier for me - but remember you still have to chew chew chew.

You are allowed to have it when your nut allows veggies. Be aware, however, that it offers very little nutritionally, and you are better served by other more nutrient rich veggies.

I used to love salads. Not so much at 2 years and almost 8 months PO. Now I eat the meat toppings of cesar salad, not much else. You'll adjust.

I'm not ready for lettuce - maybe by the end of summer. I am so very nervous about things not sitting well with me. If you decide to have a great salad, my advice would be to have tiny pieces and chew it over and over - takes a bit of crisp out of it however! lol
