Glad to hear you are doing well. I have finished my 2 psych visits and will meet the NUT in the next two weeks. After that I wait for the MD office to check w/ insurance. I had my first negative reaction to having surgery this weekend. I have a very good friend from church that I just haven't seen to tell and I told her this weekend. She was very upset and cried. She said "that surgery is not for people like you, it's for people like me." She weighs quite a bit more than me. She did confide that her sister that died of breast cancer a few years ago had had a bypass many years ago. I guess she relates the two and is worried. I was really taken aback tho and of course have been wondering if I am doing the wrong thing???? Seeing the psych the next day helped me put it in perspective. Enough about me. I am glad you are feeling good. How much have you lost?

Howdy: I am glad to hear from you and that your doing okay... Where are you with the weight loss? I totally understand the hours and the crashing thing i use to do that when i worked as well. But as long as your taking care of you that's the most important thing.

i am down 39.9 pounds since august 6th and 61 total since the end of February when i saw the surgeon first time.

Picklelilly i am so sorry to hear about your friends loss but understand what she is saying. My best friend just had her surgery yesterday but she too was leery about doing it as her father had passed after his surgery for GBS.

You are doing the right thing, It will change you forever and that's a great thing.

Glad to hear from you. I go for my nut and bariatic physical therapy check up next week. I am now 4 months out as of 10/11. I have lost a total of 95 pounds, 47 pre op and 48 post op from sleeve surgery. Doing good and getting all my protein and some days up to 90 grams! Getting in 80 oz of liquids a day too. Life is good!

New years eve will be 1 year since my "EMERGENCY CONVERSION" (had an old WLS failed due to scar tissue) Today i had 3 little chicken tenders from foosackleys. (they used to be large, now they are tiny). It was delish, no fries though. I was a good girl !!! LOL !! I weigh very little, and some days, i forget I even had surg. No hunger, no pain, . I could use a little cat nap every day though, We need new pic's,, said the girl WITH NO PICS !!! sorry......

I was wanderinff where you were. Good to hear that you are doing well. I missed my appointment with my nut and exercise therapist. Personal issues that landed in my life. I don't know about you or the rest of the women on this site. But at this tender stage of WLS, I know that I can't take own another person's issues in my private life. Perhaps as charged in my career but not when I get home. I'm widowed and now that I'm losing weight it appears men are coming out of the woodwork. One I've known for 10 years we lost touch. Now he wants to come back in my life. Truth is I'm not ready to take on his issues and mine. But need support and dont want to be alone all at the same time. Perhaps I need help and put this out as a topic. Should we at a tender stage of WLS get into new or re-kindled relationships? I think I will post.

Hi! Glad to know you are doing well and I understand about being busy. I am 5 weeks post-op and have been back to work for a little over a week and just trying to get back in the groove of working and incorporating the sipping, eating, vitamin taking, & protein driking into a normal life. Overall things are going pretty good and I just try to take it one day at a time.

Glad to hear your doing good. I am trying to get prepared for having surgery coming up on the 17th of this month.

I wondered why I didnt see your face on here! Glad youre still doing well. Ummm, Im now 14 weeks out and down 71 lbs! 20 to goal...

Hi Chocolate...how are you doing on your weight loss? It is good to hear from you. I had my surgery on Sept 17th and have lost 22 lbs since then for a total of 56 lbs. I am still having some small issues with eating and feeling sick but other that that I'm doing good. I go see my cute surgeon (yum) on Tuesday for my first follow up. Tell us more about what's going on with you when you have any time to. Get some rest...You work too hard. LOL debby

Hey Girl! Nice to hear from you. I guess I missed the posting where you finally passed that tuna fish down. So happy you are doing well.

After my surgery, my energy level was down just a bit and all I wanted to do was crash when I got home but now 4 months post op, I have so much energy. I am my old self again.

Didn't I see a post that you had lost 50 lbs! Girrrrrrrrl! What you say! Go on witcha bad self. So proud of you!

I am still doing very well. Hoping to visit Onederland next week. I have .8 lbs to go. Wish me luck. I kicked up the exercising this week.

Anyway, it's always good to hear from you, you are very positive and cheerful person.
