I am 2.5 weeks out. I have been feeling great, better than I have in years. So yesterday I decided to take my Golden puppy to handling class again after nearly 2 months off. She was in her first heat in April, and then I had surgery. Class is almost a 2 hour drive for me. So I drove over, had to stop at Petco. I have 5 dogs, so it pays to go to Petco over the local shops here when buying premium. So I took the puppy into Petco, and took a gazzillion toys away from her as we walked through, they are all there for her right? I did have someone get the food and load into car, and even hoist the puppy butt back in for me. So no lifting.
We went to class, and she has forgotten everything! lol She was sooo naughty. I bent over a couple of times to try to stand her up, and ran the ring a couple of laps. 40 lbs ago I had little problem running the ring. Last night, one lap and I was breathless! I lasted about 15 minutes out of the hour and had to quit. I hurt..... Thankfully class is ran by my handler so she took the demon puppy and worked her out for me.
I got back in the car, and was so sore I voted to take a sick day for my night shift last night. I took pain killer when I got home. I went to bed, took forever to find the sweet spot. And then I woke up with my stomach in spasms. It was the weirdest feeling. Almost like when you vomit, only I wasn't.

So lesson learned. I will lay off the bending and running for a few more weeks. Puppy will go to the handler to prepare for specialy show. :)
