My day yesterday went from good to bad in a hurry. Even being 16 monthsout, our pouch can get angry. Had some protein powder in a cup if coffee and milk for breakfast. Walked 2 miles, had a pure protein bar for lunch, ran to academy, the physical rherapy , pool exercise for 45 min. Then to walmaer. By then it was 5 pm so I had a nature valley protein bar and a few macadamdia nuts. Off to my grand daughters softball practice.by then I had already taked one gas x. During practice I started hurting in my back and burping again so on the way home another gas x. Was still hurting but I ate some shrimp, beans and green beans. Then to top it off I gave my dog a bath and walked the two for their half mile walk..
By the time I got home I was doubled over in PAIN. I was afraid I would make it home. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER. Two more gasx and 4 hours later it eased up and I was finally able to go to sleep. Sore today
Leason learned: poor choices will catch up with you. Eating too fast and not taking time to relax during the day can also kick you in the butt.
I know this is long but I hope it helps someone so they dont have to ho thru whwt I did last night..Linda

Slow down a little and take the time to eat high quality protein "meals". Protein bars are fine for an emergency but, not a great choice for everyday meals. Feel better. d

I think your story is one that needs to be told. Thanks for sharing.
We need to pay extra attention to our new pouch. And the lesson here is that if you respect your pouch...in turn it will respect you back.

Do you still have your gallbladder? I know it's easy to relate symptoms like that to the pouch, but it sounds exactly like what happened to me when they had to remove my gallbladder.
