Sometimes, for some at least, it is even a fear of 'hurting' ourselves... fear of a creating a leak or breaking something!
If you are eating within your guidelines.... i would suggest trying to remember you are doing the deed... following the rules... and all will be well!
My surgeon explained to me that our pouches are made out of the very toughest part of our stomachs... and that stretching it out of shape is really not all that easy or possible. That often when people think they have stretched it out, its really just because they've learned to eat around it... some foods are easier to go down than others, or grazing all day long... or making high calorie food choices or carby choices... NOT because our pouch is stretched out.
There is even a five day pouch test out there... (you can google it) and the idea behind it is to reshrink our pouch... but what many say, and I believe, what it really does is get us back to basics and reminds us our pouch still works. I've done it... and it helped get my head back in the right place and reminded me I am the one in control :)
You are doing fine! It is much better to be worried you are doing it right, than wondering how you can get around it and eat XYZ as some people do!
We didn't become obese because we were emotionally healthyyour issues are indicative of the "head-work" we have to do for this thing to work long-term. Keep at it!!

I am great at following lists and instructions, just not creative in venturing out on my own in this new life change.
