Sitting in the waiting room waiting for my pulmonary clearance appointment and I received the call from my surgeons office, they have my insurance approval!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't think hearing that would leave me so emotional. I still have a stress test, abdominal ultrasound and psych eval to go, but that will all be done within the next week.
Hoping for surgery the same week my 18 yr old is off school for spring break - March 17th. Fingers crossed. I'm a bundle of nerves right now. :)

Only a gastric bypass patient knows what that stressful excitement feels like when you get clearance or when they call you with a surgery date.
It's a bizarre emotion for sure!
