Today was my annual physical, and I was the first patient of the day. Came across the parking lot from my car and saw my cute little doctor pull in and climb out of her car. I almost waved and then thought, I will wait, she deserves her moment to come in the door in peace...so I went on in. She hasn't seen me since my surgery in June.

So I was seated when she came in the door, and she crossed the waiting room and caught my eye and did a double take, and then grinned hear to ear. "I didn't recognize you! " she said. "I wondered who that was in the parking lot but it never occurred to me it was you!"

That was SO much fun! The nurse I knew and the phlebotomist also made nice comments and the phleb would like to do it too if her insurance would cover. I told her, just keep praying, and when it's time, the way will open. I used to be in the same position and now here I am on the other side of that door.

I have been their patient for 7 years and this is the first time no one recognized me. Oh, and now I have NO MORE BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS! Dropped the first one in November, got permission to drop the second one today. Yahoo!
