hI ALL,
I HAD MY surgery on Tuesday, it went really well.
Got kinda scared, cause in the middle of the night, I was spitting up blood, but they said that was old blood from the surgery...and said people do get it.
So, once that stopped, I felt better, but made me very naseaus...and queasy....
But, yesterday and today I did great! I had 2 ounces of broth and 2 oz of sugar free jello, 8 ounces of iced tea, twice yesterday, and then once this morning. I Got released at 1130am, and was home by noon.
Had one protein shake when home, tasted so sweet, too sweet, and it was the vanilla, mixed with skim milk. Sipping my liquids, and due for another protein shake in a little while..
Walked 4-5 times yesterday and today...not much problem at all with gas, just sore on the front, where incisions are, and where they did everything. Using ice pack.
Very tired, but feeling good!!
HOpe all that had surgery are doing well!!! I will catch up on posts when I'm more awake. ON pain meds, so gonna rest now.

Well, regarding pain, they kept me on a regular does of pain meds. Tylenol pain meds, so pain was very low, hardly none at all.
The only pain I have is the soreness in the stomach, like a muscle ache, I'm just extremely tired, you know how it is, when you're in the hospital, and they keep waking you up for everything under the sun!!
I'm on hydrocodone with acetiminaphen, so that's keeping everything feeling pretty good, just the soreness ..but keeping an ice pack on it, seems to help it.
I have 8 more ounces of protein shake to drink tonight, plus more liquids,...trying to get as much in as possible.
