I got my surgery date "MARCH 5"!!!!!
I AM PUMPED!!!!
I was just so wishing it was sooner because my Income Replacement Benefit ends March 11 :(

This whole journey has been trial by fire and I don't expect it to get better but...
I HAVE A SURGERY DATE!!! YIPEEE!!!!!!!!

You know it morethanready.
When my daughter and I went for the appointments with the Dietitian, Physiologist and the Dr. (we had to stay 3 days) the radio was calling for the "blizzard of 09". And it was.
We had to drive (and I mean had no choice) 3 hours in a complete white out all the way to the Saginaw bridge where, after a hair raising crossing in red alert high winds, the weather did improve.
Like I said ... Trail by Fire.

That is great! You might try calling back and letting them know that you are willing to take any cancellations they may have. My girlfriend ended up getting her surgery a month early this way. Some people change their mind, or situations come up or the doctor cancels the patient's surgery for one reason or another and they are more then happy to fill the spot with a willing candidate! Just a thought
