So do we change your name now to Snuffles? Sorry you are sick. I can't take any of that stuff so I don't know if they will make me goofy now that I am post-WLS. I just do the old standby of hot "lemonade". Probably doesn't help the cold but always has made me feel better!

How about some nasal spray?

I *love* Drixoral brand. It works really well. Not positive if it is only in Canada.

I haven't noticed an extreme reaction to cold/allergy meds. I take an Allertec every morning. When I'm sick I take Sudafed.

If you have allergies you can try Neilmed or a nettipot..they will do a great job of washing out your sinuses.

i do the nasal spray. but for my cough i take my grandma's homemade cough syrup - the best stuff in the world - wish i could bottle it and sell it - i'd be rich!
