Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Beating yourself up does no good. Decide if your choices are things you should repeat or not and then act accordingly. Guilt is a wasted emotion.

I had GB...the pieces of fish were the size of a cell phone, not a huge filet. and the scallops are the real tiny ones. It's weird, some days i feel i can eat and eat and eat....which freaks me out cause i feel i stretched my pouch out, then there are some days I fill up fast. another thing too, i can take decent gulps of water with no issues....no sips here.
Try to stay away from wheat, rice, potatoes, sugar.
Bananas aren't a great choice either. They have the most sugar of any fruit. Berries have much less sugar and much more fiber.
Maybe go back to just protein, veggies, and low fat dairy.
I eat fried stuff occasionally. My focus is on the macro nutrients--protein, carbs, fats. I try to hit my levels on a weekly average--so there's some fluctuation on the day-to-day.
I also have a calorie target of 1200 - 1500. Go for that average for the week as well.
I log everything in my smart phone app (loseit). This works for me.
