To God be the Glory I am home from the hospital and as the Doctors, Nurses etc., said, do not look like or feel like I had major surgery yesterday. In fact they all said you look fantastic. As you all know may or may not know I left here 2:45 yesterday, when I got to the hospital the lady said we've been trying to call you to tell you to come in earlier so there was no time for nerves - in the door and to the ambulatory unit for prep and on into OR. Surprisingly there were no nerves and until they said goodnight Tami, I was cracking jokes with everybody in the OR and woke up in recovery. I have little to no pain surgery related just the same back spasms I had before I went in and I'm trusting God that it's only for a short among of time.

Imagine my surprise when after a restless night in Recovery (no beds available) my surgeon said girl I am sending you home today - you have no fever, no nausea or dizziness, and your skin color is amazing for someone who just had major surgery. She gave me the do's and don'ts, told me to come into her office on Monday and discharged me. She said they still had no beds and before she would see me spend another restless night in OR she'd prefer to send me home where i could rest in the luxury of my own home.

I tell you - i feel great minus the back spasms. Five small incisions and no pain near or around them - YOU TELL ME, HOW GOOD IS GOD?
