I am home and I love popcicles... Life is good. Little pain, but not much at all. I am just really tired.
Concerned about my meds. I have to call my primary care doctor to have him adjust amounts. They didn't give me my prestique last night and I have to take it now because it will make my head feel weird if I don't. I am worried it will make me sick. Thanks everyone, Karen

Congrats, feels good to be home doesn't it! Your doing very well if you are home and not having much pain. I had pain for a couple of weeks. Take it easy the tiredness lasts for a bit.

Glad to hear you are doing well. Rest, sip, protein, vitamins, and walk, repeat. Your body has some recovering to do so rest is what it will need for quite a while.

I had to stop my pain meds not to feel sick, but Kept on my Antacids. I am glad your home, you might hit some hard days, but you will get back up! good luck! I cannot handle Aspertame so I cannot have SF Fruit pops.. Makes me sad! :( but so happy to see you doing well!

Glad to hear that you are home and doing well. If your PCP is not familiar with post-op medical care of bariatric patients, ask your surgeon to refer you to an MD who is. This surgery changes how we respond to and absorb medications, so it would be good to work with an MD who gets that.
