We had a get together at my house for my sons birthday and I felt normal I made things that I could snack on and actually had a mixed drink (I know I shouldn't have but I felt normal) lol The only thing that was pure torture was the cake! I love love love cake and I didn't get to eat any! :( but it's okay! I'm happy that I felt normal lol

I feel you!
Had a small reunion yesterday
I watched everyone munch down on homemade cookies and cupcakes from a famous bakery.
Only one who didn't have any.
Kind of bummed me out until I weighted myself this morning
56 lbs gone, over 1/2 way till goal
Only had GNY Jan 3rd
Yippee!!!

Isn't it great to start feeling normal again!! And don't sweat the drink - just be careful. I have enjoyed several glasses of wine since surgery with no ill effects. But I don't drive 'cos it hits you harder.

It is a kick in the butt not to get the pies, cakes and ice cream. But I know from experience you will kick yourself for eating them! Ain't worth the pain!

Sgt smith I told my husband I was like I think I wanna eat it and get sick anyway but I'm not going too lol
