I know that it seems as though I am stuck in this one area of concern right now and if it is bothersome for some I apologize up front, but I have to know so this goes out to those of you who have already had the surgery - can not or have not had the excess skin removed as yet:
Okay here it here it is, and please be very honest if you can because there are a few questions I have
#1 is there actually a difference in loose skin for those who have had the sleeve versus the gastric bypass because it's "a slower weight loss" or is it overall the same?
#2 How does the loose skin really affect you emotionally - no holds barr please -
#3 Most importantly if you are married or involved with someone how do they handle or react to the loose skin? Have they been supportive and has their love for you, all of you remained unwavering.
I ask these things because I am concerned - for 29 years and most of them with me being at my heaviest, my husband has been a touchy feely sort of man (if you get my drift) He's always loved me no matter how much weight i put on - I asked him this morning if he would love me if my skin was hanging all over the place and he said are you going to be healthy and I said yes and he said then that's all that matters. I pray I'm not reading anything into this but that wasn't a "Yes, stop being silly response" the one I needed. Am I over thinking this or should I be concerned that the way he sees and loves on me might change because of the future issues with loose skin.
Okay I am truly going to need someone to tranquilize me because as each day grows closer to me getting a date - my mind is on flip mode. All jokes aside though am I the only one who asked these questions?

1) it's the weight loss that causes the loose skin to appear. Doesn't what causes the weight loss.
2) Yes, it affects me. For me, the worst is on my thighs--I'd love to swim, but I won't until I can purchase a suit with long legs. Ugh. But it's better than not swimming.
3) I'm not involved with anyone at present, and the loose skin is one major thing that keeps me alone. I really do worry what a man would think of my bod. It looks good in clothes, but......not so much naked.
Truthfully, if I could afford some cosmetic work, I would definitely do it. My advice: start saving your $$. :)
Everyone looses differently and there are a lot of options in Spanks - I have quite a few that I will wear out that smooths the lumps and bumps. My biggest problem is i have huge arms and its had to find clothes in my true size that has arms big enough.
