Initially, I will wait till my 2 week and 6 week follow up appointment. After than, probably once a week, then bi-weekly after I am over the initial, faster losing... But I will work it out with RIch (my hubby) how often the scale can come out and play! LOL!
So, yeah, too much, but I have a plan! And Jennifer, you CAN have a plan too! LOL! Not just a wish :) :)
I like your idea though, twice per month. I may switch to that. I take my measurements once per month and that really shows a difference!
Great suggestion!!!!
Wish I had one though because at my last 3mo post OP appt I was almost in the 100's. I think I had 12lbs to go. It's almost been a month since I weighed in. Wonder if I made it yet!
Not sure I could weigh just twice a month. If that scale is in the house I am going to be on it!!!
So I tried with my therapist and doctors to get to 2x a week. even put the scale in the closet in between. then I had to walk by the closet and the scale (not really but) would cry and have a tantrum until I had to put it back in the bathroom. :) (ok so it is way to silly for words eye rolls are accepted in my world).
Im back to the every time I go actually near the bathroom schedule now. Its ok my therapist just keeps asking me if I'm convinced yet that I wont gain it all back and we do a little check in to make sure this isn't the beginnings of an eating disorder.
If I weigh more than that I'll drive myself nuts.
