...I hope this helps. We are military so I understand if you have never been introduced to new foods. Originally I am from the West; I remember my real first southern BBQ, I liked it but it was way different than I was used to, and Korean food, if you make one mispronounciation you will be eating dog instead of chicken (lol Pagogi and Kagogi) its interesting....
...Refried beans are typically beans that have been cooked, and fried in a pan and blended until smooth. Thats why they call them refried :D
My 1st stage I ate a lot of mashed potatoes. we also got canned cream of chicken and mushroom soup and pureeed it with a blender before we cooked it. I had a few soft eggs but they didn't set very well. I had some Farina and cream of wheat. I used and still use nutrasweet sweetner. I got cheap cottage cheese the 1% kind and yogurt with no sugar at wal mart too. I had carnation instant breakfast with no sugar as a protien source 3 times a day. Had to give that up cause the milk started getting me. Tried fish. didn't like them.
For a TREAT! I would get a pack of sugar free choclate pudding and a spoon of smooth peanut butter. That's real good!
That dumping is NO FUN! Still do it regularly!
http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ Very helpful. I didn't have an RNY but my understanding is eating NO sugar! It's something that you will have to be militant about. You can do this. YOU CAN do this. Learn the curve and keep the faith. You are going to learn lessons, grow, change and discover a new you. That process of growth and discovery is sometimes painful. But remember, you CAN do ALL things through Christ who gives you strength! Blessings, Peace and Love to you.
You'll be a pro at this in no time... :)
