I am a little embarrassed to write this post, but I am desperate for some information and this is the first place I thought to ask. . .

I had a sudden onset of pain yesterday afternoon. Through my back and stomach. It hurt to breath, move, etc. I figured "gas". I moved around a little and it felt a little better. I took my daughter to work, and on the way home, I had to pull over in a parking lot because it hurt so bad. I got out and walked around, but it didn't really help. I almost felt nauseous. Once I got home, I was able to relieve a little gas (I mean very little). I laid down and the pain subsided after about an hour or so. I couldn't tell if part of my feeling was because I was hungry, so I ate some soup and a few crackers. Not too long after that, I had the pains again. By the time I went to bed last night, the pain was not horrible, but several times throughout the night it woke me up.

I think I might be constipated as well -- but I have never felt this much pain from gas and/or constipation. I cannot even stand up straight. I just ate a prune - yuck (I have been told they help quickly with constipation). I have not taken any meds this morning or had my protein shake -- because I'm not sure what's going on and I don't really think that I could drink a shake right now.

I may be just venting -- but I would also love to hear any suggestions as to how to alleviate my pain. Help!
