Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
No amount of movement or stillness made any difference in that pain!
I'd see my doctor or go to ER. I went to ER and had surgery the following afternoon. I was back to work in two weeks. Recovery about the same as my RNY gbs.
Hope your seen very soon. This hurts like a BIG dog!!

Another thing we have to be aware of after surgery is the possibility of a bowel obstruction...it can come from twisting, adhesions, hernias, or intussusceptions. If you have that pain and start throwing up, go to the ER!!
I had a similar episode 4 weeks ago and ended up in surgery that afternoon (mine was a twisted intestine and an intussusception) but I also had them take out my gallbladder.

The best I can do is offer prayers and healing energy. Both being sent your way.
Praying for ya!
It is so nice that I have a place to come to vent, ask questions and celebrate! What a great family! ~ Chris
