Help I think something is wrong.

I am a year out this month. I have never had any complications. Lately I have been having issues with constipation.
No matter what I take the problems persist.
I was advised on this board that Senna Tea would work, it didn't. For the record it tore my daughter apart but not me.
I have used Pysllium, Correctol, Senecot-S and benifiber and prunes.
Today I have little appetite and when I do eat something I break into a sweat (light) It also feels like I am full but I haven't really eaten anything.
Although I am certain that I am "full" this is more a feeling that goes all the way up to my chest.
This has been happening a lot these days but today it seems worse.
It's been 4 days.
Does anyone know anything about this?
I am thinking of trying Lactolose.
Anyone? Help!

Have you called your doctor?? I only 3 weeks out, so know very little, but I wouldn't want you to let this go on. Hope you find resolution soon.

Long line of bad belly trouble has led me to the belief broccoli and zuchinni will cure anything!

I just talked tonight and she says that I should try a fleet,
I feel foolish but this is making me feel sick. to my stomach and in a sweat.
My doctor doesn.t know anything about GBS so if this is some kind of obstruction I am in trouble.
My GBS doctor is 5 hours away.

As a nurse for 18yrs, I would say call YOUR DOCTOR NOW! PLease.....You need some help....Please don't put it off.

I am three months out and have the same issues. Milk of mag. helps a little but I have to do fleets almost once a week. I go back to the surgeon next week if I get any other advise I will pass it on. I am on stool softeners, miralax, fiber, but I need to up my water intake.

have you tried milk of mag or magnesium citrate?

If OTC laxitives do not resolve your issue soon (like a day or two) you should call your doctor. You could have a bowel obstruction.

I never have had these troubles after surgery ( prior I believe I had IBS) but because this has sprang up out of the blue and has been ongoing for a few weeks now I am concerned about an obstruction. I also would not want to go to the hopital. Apparently that is (as you can well imagine) not a fun time. I an giving it overnight )it's getting late here) and I will do the fleet in the AM if there is no result. I am not quite ready yet to hit the emerg but if I have to I will.
I worry because some people who have had no complications have them further down the road.
I don't want to panic but I am worried. Hope (as in, I hope I go soon!)
