Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I am in the same boat. Constantly wanting to eat. Is there a live chat room where we can support each other?
I had my surgery on June 2nd and am doing pretty well, but I too get very hungry at night. For me, it may be because I am not eating enough throughout the day, making me more hungry in the evening and out of habit. My "go to" is sugar free Popsicles. They crunch, are full of flavor, desert-like and provide a bit of hydration. I do not limit myself...just eat till my lips turn red or orange or purple! Good Luck.
