Stopped to get the wife a blizzard, So what harm could a nice little icecream do? Oh Yeah! It can do plenty! Don't feel so good. I don't recommend trying it!

Sorry the blizzard didn't work out and made you feel crappy!!!

I am 6 wks out and am absolutely scared to death to even test the waters with some things. Like the Ghiradelli Chocolate Brownies my MIL had at BBQ last sunday. Or the corn on the cob......

What gets me through it is I think to myself - if this makes me sick am I where I can be for several hours getting sick without being embarrased? The answer is always no because I am hardly ever home and if I'm home I refuse to spend the day throwing up.

I've only thrown up once and it was over in a flash - thank goodness -- but that one time made a deep impression on me.

I went into a diner with hubby yesterday and i thought i could eat the cheese ravoili and got so disgusted when they didn't have it so i went with the (so-called) scrambled eggs with cheese. Now at home when you scramble cheese eggs you scramble the eggs and cheese together - well in the restaurant scrambled eggs with cheese equated to an omelet type egg with a cold slab of cold unmelted chesse slapped on top. It was beyond disgusting and sent my pouch into an uproar and thats before I even dared to taste it - so needless to say I watched hubby eat his cheeseburger deluxe and then we left. So hubby felt bad for me and tried to appease me by making the ravoli at home - suffice it to say the pasta turned my stomach into a battle ground and I lost. I don't know what I was thinking but the thought is far from my head now trust me because yesterday was an epic fail and I am not ready to put anything in my stomach today, but i have to for obvious reasons. Taking it slow and i suggest you do the same sgt.

I have had ice cream twice in the last 13 months, both times IT KILLED ME! I didn't learn from your post and had a DUMBBUTT moment when I got home last night late and my son said "there is pizza left if you didn't eat" well my dumbbutt, without even thinking went right to the kitchen and ate a piece. Not only were my insides killing me I think it was deep dish, which has a lot of crust), but I had my first headache in 14 months from the peperoni...I won't make that mistake again! Even a year out, it is still trial and error, and this was a huge error!
