I'm getting nervous butterflies my surgery is tomorrow. I have to be at hospital at 7:30 surgery at 9:30. I'm getting anxious and stressed. I'm sure it's normal. Hard to believe this day is here after such a long journey so far! Need done prayers sent my way!! I'll keep you all posted on how I'm doing! :)

Its normal to be nervous. If you weren't, we'd worry about you. just take a deep breath and know that you're changing your life for the better.

I hear ya...my surgery isn't til Feburary...and I have so much anxiety and excitement....I will be thinking of ya ...make sure you stay in touch with progress ..

Good luck, I'm a week out of lap band and the worse part was getting stuck 5 times for an IV.

I will pray a prayer of calmness and shelter you from harm. You might ask for a chaplain when you go in. they are at the hosp. I did on the pre op questioner and a chaplain came right as i was in waiting to go to surgery. I imeditly felt better.

Doesn;t matter the faith they just tend to make you relax where you can feel the stress of your loved ones. If your body is relaxed the surgery goes better.
