With that said, my surgery went very well. I was so afraid before being wheeled into the operating room that I was crying and they had to give me a "happy" shot!
When I woke up, I didn't have that much pain -- of course I was comparing it to the pain from my two c-sections. I have more annoyance than pain -- that darn drainage tube grossed me out!!! Just knowing it was hanging there repulsed me. I got my prescription filled for painkillers, but only had to use three or four of them, total.
I did have a fever three days out, but it went away the next day and everything turned out fine.
I'm three months out and have lost 65 pounds. I am very happy with my decision to have the surgery, and I also feel very fortunate that the Lord has blessed me through this time in my life.
