Freezing

I am so cold now that I have had surgery. I am ususally the hot blooded kind but since surgery I have stayed freezing. Anyone else experienced this?

I use to be the hot one 24/7, now being 6 weeks post op, I am the one cold!!

I can answer this one, pick me, pick me!! Ur cold for several reasons: 11) you are losing your stores of insulation. 2) your body slowing down b/c of the low caloric intake, a compensation attept by ur body. This is the time to fight back & kick up ur exercise & get sum muscles! Sleep well knowing this IS normal : )

It's a common thing - you've lost your 24/7 insulation called fat. Been 4 yrs and still bundle up. 2 pair of socks. 2 sweatsuits, thermal underwear, even gloves and hats at times LOL. And of course many blankets. In winter keep a small ceramic heater pointed at me in which must fight doggie who loves to block it for himself.

As a kid I used to be embarrassed for MOM having us bring sweaters with us when ever we went anywhere in the summer and she used to always complain of "drafts". Now I keep sweater at work (and a ceramic heater under desk) and at times in winter have worn hat and gloves there too and I'm in an office. LOL

Me too. I noticed this summer when it was 90-100 degrees out I didn't even get hot. I am freezing today at work. Put a heavy sweater on while at home at lunch time. It was almost 80 degrees out yesterday, today the high is 48 degrees! Central IL weather for ya!
