Yippee! Way to go!

I have always heard that losing slowly is better than real fast. I don't know how true it is after WLS. I have made up my mind that no matter how slow it comes off, it's coming off. I'm not quite 3 weeks out and I am just now being able to walk more than just to the bathroom and back. I know we will all get to our goals when we are meant to get there.

That's great! Bask in your achievement and don't try to match to anyone else's pace. It's not a race, and you will drive yourself crazy (trust me, because I am the Pot caling the Kettle black)!

Congrats on your loss. Just keep with the program and you'll get to a healthy weight. Don't worry about how quickly it happens, just enjoy the ride down!!

Congratulations! You are doing awesome!!

I am soooooooo jealous! How awesome it must feel to hit that 30 pound mark. (Heck, I get excited when I don't gain weight between appointments). Don't measure yourself by anyone else. Accept every ounce that comes off and feel blessed that it is just one more you don't have to think about. AND if it is coming off a little more slowly, thank God! It gives your skin a chance to change with it which could mean....minimal loose skin!

You are doing so well. Don't let the stories of others experiences take your victories away from you. You earned that 30 pounds.

You are right on track! I had my surgery on 12/19 and am down 34 pounds with a start weight of 256.6.

Dec 23 30lbs lost - your in good company ; ) I was going crazy weighing everyday... now I only weigh on saturdays! thanks to all the ladies who encouraged me to stop weighing and feeling disappointed. Now I have a measuring tape to follow up with my weigh in. we'll see on saturday!

I also had my surgery on 12/27, great day to start a new life! I have lost 35lbs since that day and now weigh 225. I think we are right on track. good luck to you!
