I ate a spoonful or 7-layered dip, and a jalapeo popper, and I now have a headache and feel as if I have to thru up. Is this what the dumping feels like, if so it is a miserable feeling. I just want to stick my finger down my throat but know I cant do it.

Sounds like it. But everyone experiences it differently. Me? I get heartburn really bad an feel like I'm going to throw up. Sometimes I do but most times it passes in about 15 mins.

I just threw up a little bit, my mouth was real watery and it came up. Feels like I have more to come though.

Uh oh. Did you have the sleeve? Can you dump w/ the sleeve? Maybe your tummy is still tender and it was too spicy? Hope you feel better soon. Kathy

Hi Kathy, yes I had the sleeve in September, and I heard you can dump with that also. I had spicy food a few times, so I think it has to be one or the other of the things I ate, but this sure isn't a good feeling.

This morning I found out the hard way that the yoghurt I ate for breakfast was not the sugar-free kind that I thought I had purchased. Dizzy, sweating - felt lousy. Dumping I'm guessing

yep senecagrl...thats dumping ..read those lables girl lol
and chocolate...that watery feeling in your mouth is whats called "the foamies"...i still get it when stuff gets stuck...but after these years ive become damn good at sticking my finger down my throat...mostly because i dont have a large threshold for pain...and i really dont mind puking lol

girl stop it - i didn't even have my surgery yet, but i would think the jalepeno popper alone would be too spicy for your stomach, no? You have to continue to use wisdom at all times my new friend. i wouldn't want to see anything happen to you. Please feel better soon.

I had sleeve and yes I believe we do dump!! Either you are too full or this is just too much for your tummy - my experience is to stick that finger down your throat and get it out so you can feel better. Sometimes that is the only thing that will help. In my early months this happened quite a few times as things you may have liked prior to surgery just dont sit very well with your new pouch. Hope you feel better!!

You are having the same symptoms as I have after eating something 'wrong'.
I always thought dumping was...well dumping. But in my experience I feel sick and I want to vomit, but can't (haven't been able to vomit since my surgery)*shrugs* I get a headache sometimes and my heart beats out of my chest.
I Have to lay down and wait it out.
