DarlaRenee, congrats on the amazing weight loss, and you can't beat yourself up because we are only human and whatever you are doing is working for you. Have a great vacation.
Cynthia, I am so happy for you. Doing MJ with the Wii, girl you are definitely my hero with that one*lol*. I am getting the sleeve also and can not wait. Impressive weight loss for such a short time, keep up the good work.
Slvrstrega, where is the old dog at, certainly not you*lol*. You are an inspiration to all fo us puppies because you showed us that you are never to old to fix something in your life if you do not like it. Congratulations on your weight loss.
And I allowed myself to indulge in too many calories and gained three pounds. :( I'm back on track now--no excuses, and I'm confident that I'll take it off.
Thanks for asking about all of us!
First let me say that your posts are so sweet - that beautiful smile of yours sure fits your personality!
I am almost 2yrs out - literally lost 1/2 of me - 130 lbs down and weigh 130. I had the RNY - thank God, no problems.
Most days i relish this new body, just enjoying the way i am able to move.
I have been struggling with some emotional stuff, mostly surrounding the difficulties my husband has had accepting my surgery.
But i would never go back - wls was an answered prayer.
God bless and can't wait until you're on the loser's bench!

Chocolate your post takes confidence I seldom feel... wish I did. I need to work on that.
I wanted most of all to take this opportunity to say that while I often read and don't comment I do read and find many of the posts very helpful.
Like you Chocolate I'm presurgery... getting closer... I'm nervous... doubt if I'm alone in that... working on following through on what I need to do. I have pretty much got all my ducks in a row... insurance approval, cardiology clearance, psych clearance, 30 lbs lost to make surgery leaner and easier as required.... I will be seeing my PCD Monday morning for surgery clearance and to get the order for my lab work... Then gallop to the surgery date...
I'd like you all to know that all the info... both the up side stories and the down side stories are helpful... I think its given me a better idea of whats possible... good and bad and its encouraged me to continue. Hoping to join the losers and the wunderlunds... wow... imagine thinking... someday I want to be a real loser....... *Smile* God Bless Elissa
I'm down 112 lbs, lost close to 40 of that pre op though. I'm around 20 lbs to goal now :)
I agree with some of the above posters. My feet aren't excruciating any more. I can WALK now :) Work isn't horrible and I bounce all over!
You're gonna love it!
