I was falling back into some bad habits and this shocked me back into reality.
I am sorry you had such a terrible experience, and I hope you feel better really soon....
I am surprised popcorn made you dump.... I know of lots of people who have had WLS that eat popcorn.... I haven't tried it, and now I am afraid to even think of it....
Thank you for sharing your story...
Are the foods you splurged on, your favorite food, or was it just something you wanted to try, to see if your pouch could handle it???
I just wondered, if it was a test, or it's something you never ate before you surgery, and you wanted to see how it digested. And, if it's one of your old "favorites", is it because you just WANTED it??\

I think it is diiferent for everyone. And it is a huge learning curve, and just when you think you are safe, something unexpected barks back. It is the ultimate food monitor however. Once it happens, you never want it to happen again. In my puree stage I had sf choc pudding every night with my meds mixed in. One night I added vanilla protien instead of un flav. I can eat the PP in a shake no prob, but mixed with sf pudd, it just about killed me. I was shaking like a leaf, thought for sure I would vomit, and was miserable for most of my shift at work. Go figure.
But I know this will all be worth it right???
