Today is day 99 post op (Dang! The time just FLYS by!!) .... Went to see the surgeon for my 3 month post op.
She said I was doing fantastic and was amazed at my progress! I don't remember the exact # (Weird, I know!) But I've lost right at 50 lbs since surgery July 24th and 77.5 total since January.
She asked me if she could put my name in to do the info sessions.... you know, be the "Post op person" to chat with all the new folks! So awesome!! Can't wait!!
So that was cool!
And Friday AM (if I can get up after staying up late to get my homework done!!) we are headed to Bend Oregon (about a 3 hr drive) so I can go to Grad school open house at Oregon State Cascades Campus.... Gives me goose bumps just thinking about it! Its all becoming so real now... and thanks to surgery and all that followed, I actually feel like I can pull off grad school!!
We will be gone till Sunday.... Gonna be fun!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
