Hi Everyone
Well I made my first phone call to get the ball rolling back in October 09. I have a date set for August 17th. I am so looking forward to the new me of course! I like the rest of you have literally tried it all! I'll be 47 on August 6th and feel as though I have to get a grip if I want to be around for my daughter (19yrs old)!
I, like all of you are quite nervous about the initial surgery. However I do believe this is the right road for me!
I have to say this site is "awsome"!! People are so friendly and helpful!
I do have to lose 15lbs ugh That is not fun at this time of the year :-)
Anyhow thanks for all your support! I look forward to becoming a member of the "losers club" :-)

Congratulations on getting your surgery date and welcome to the group!
I had my surgery May 20 and have lost 35 pounds so far and I love the new me so far. Good luck to you.

I think you can drop those 15 during salad season. A reason to be grateful for the heat. Try mixed dark greens with grilled chicken, sliced strawberries and almonds - yummy and satisfying.
