Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Your gonna have to force yourself!
Even if just cheese, or canned soups, tuna, canned chicken (mix with low fat mayo), try the reduced fat town house crackers.
Cottage cheese (add fruit), Greek yoguart, deli slice lunch meat rolled up with slice of cheese.
Even try frozen smart ones if nothing else!
You've gotta get in more protein, not only for your health, but you will not loose weight!
DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GOOD WEBSITES OR ANYTHING THAT COULD HELP ME?
It will get better, it really will.
I had to have some Iv fluids around 8 weeks out. Felt bettet immediately!
I used Premier Protein bars during my weight loss phase (30 grams). Protein shake first thing in the morning, protein bar for lunch, and something with dense protein for dinner (egg-salad, chicken-salad, etc).
During the first year, we eat because we have to....not because we enjoy it (kinda like brushing your teeth).
Remember....if you don't get enough protein, your body will eat your muscles to get what it needs.

Your protein is so important, let alone the vitamins! Glad you got back on the vitamins.
Light Cottage cheese is also a very high protein choice.
But, call the dr, right away.> You need that protein!
