You're gonna do fine!! Just coming here, "fessing up", and being honest and accountable, is just exactly what will help you stay on track.
You just being aware, that you need to watch yourself, is good!
Do you journal, everything you eat? Maybe planning your meals, if you don't already, and writing them down for the next day, and just bring that journal with you, so that everytime you eat, you can just ck it off, and if you go to eat something and it's not on the list, that 's just a easy reminder , that you can't have it, because it HAS TO BE IN THERE FOR YOU TO EAT IT!
Sounds kiinda too simple, but maybe it will work????
Sending support your way!!
Boo
Yeah, Boo, I do track... have been a tracker for like 4+ years (big grin! THAT was a hurdle to get that habit ingrained! lol!)... Part of my extra 'nibbles' have been at work (the child care co-op). They are a vegan center, and their cook does a great job of making healthy eats... and a tray is brought into the classroom 2 x's while I am there. **SIGH** And a tiny bit here and there, well that stuff adds up! So I think I need a new rule and that is to NOT nibble at work... (or at least have my own, tracked, snack handy....
And Touky, I think I'll email my nut and ask her for some input too. Good idea! I also have my 3 month check up on Halloween.... so can chat with surgeon too :)
I have been doing 5 classes (intense) at the YMCA a week and my NUT told me that I MUST consume more calories. She told me that if I don't I could feel more lightheaded than I sometimes do after my workouts and that if you burn all of your calories up or most of them your body will go into "starvation mode" and try to save all of your calories for energy... It is still hard to actually consume them because I am scared to but maybe that is why you have been eating slightly more. I don't think she was telling me to eat a bowl of chips after my workouts but something extra LOL
Also you said you were eating more hummus and whole wheat crackers. At least it isn't cookies and chips!!
You are sooo good at keepng records and planning! That's amazing! I don't know what I plan to to an hour from now!
I know you will succeed!
