Hi everyone I am so sorry that I have been away so long but I just wanted to pop in today and tell you that all is going well. As you all know this is a day to day journey but I have to tell you that I am so pleased with where I am at right now. Gods blessings are truly all over me and I couldn't be happier right now. October 9th will make 6 months out and I get weighed again after 3 months of not seeing my doctor, so I am anxious to see how much I've lost in a three month span. No, I still DO NOT weigh myself because I don't ever want to fall victim to the scale so this is the longest I have gone without being weighed. I and my husband can tell that the news will be good.
NSV's I have now at 51 gone back to complete my degree and guess what I can actually fit into those little chairs without a problem. I can cross my legs comfortably now and I walk around the campus track at least 3 times a week and I feel good about it.
On another note my husband has had his hip replacement surgery (the right one) and is coming along. That happened on August 22, 2013 and we are looking to have the left one done in December 2013 or January of 2014.
In the midst of all this my auntie had a stroke and was later diagnosed with Lung Cancer, because she is 81 they can't do chemo or radiation, her heart is too weak and the blood pressure is not steady so she will be released from ICU soon and sent home. The good news is her spirits are high, her mind is still sharp, she didn't loose the use of her limbs and she's still telling people what she wants so until God says differently she is amongst the living and doing well.
Well that is all for now - I just wanted to update you and let you know that you are all in my heart and on my mind. Keep striving towards your goals because this journey is absolutely awesome.
