Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Yes, we all lose differently, and that's just our bodies, and all of that!
Boo
Remember we all have different journeys and are unique!
100 lbs is something to be very proud of, and think of the inches that went along with it!
You are an inspiration! How many of us can say we work out like you do? It's incredible!
Don't give up, you've come too far!
Try not to judge by the number on the scale, instead go with how you feel and all you are now able to do!!
With that said, I'm still overweight, and would feel better if I lost another 50-75 lbs. Doc says that would be closer to "ideal weight" for me, but at 54 with mobility issues, am unlikely to reach it.
I've been working on intentional gratitude for my improved health and the benefits I've recieved, and just as I was getting closer to OK with what I've done, I found I'd lost another 10 lbs!!! Go figure. I suspect our bodies have a little more say about setting times to cooperate and stuff than we give them credit for.
Anyway, thanks for sharing and don't give up. 100 lbs in only 10 months is great progress. Follow your program, and your body will lead the way.
Good to see you again!
