Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. Under where the photo goes click on "update photo"
Click on "browse" and select photo to upload. I go to "my pictures" on my pc.
Click on "upload"
Once it is downloaded on the site, you can move the photo around to size what you want to show
Make sure your photos are less than 1.5 MB, and they are .PNG, .JPG, or .GIF format.
To check the size of your photos, you can usually right click the photo and click on "Properties" if you're on a PC, and "Get Info" if you're on a Mac. This action will also tell you if your photo is in one of the correct formats or not.
You can use photo editing to
Crop and compress the photo you want to use.
For PC, FastStone Photo Resizer is a wonderful free tool that can shrink your photo with advanced resizing options. I use Microsoft Office 2010. On a Mac, Preview has a feature that can resize your photo.
