An NSV I suppose. A few years ago I went to a website for big people and bought an expensive, portable, fold-up chair so I could take it to my daughter's games. It broke a few weeks ago. My sister gave me another chair that she won at work. I gotta admit, it looked flimsy.

I needed a chair last night for my daughter's game so I took it, but I was worried. It said capacity 300 pounds and I'm under 250, but I still was wary. I could just see it collapsing under me and me being mortified. But it didn't! I was quite pleased!! Love these changes that make life so much easier!!

That is so cool. I worry about chairs all the time. Even now I get scared to sit on them at 257 pounds. I lost another pound this week. I still see myself as this really heavy person. Gotta try it soon. You have motivated me.

Chairs are one of my phobia's. Maybe one of my biggest. I hate having to think about stability before I can sit, and people think you are weird when you bring your own, but you know it is safe......

I hear you all! I have been thinking lately about all the things I can't do now, or use now, like restaurant booths...certain folding chairs etc..and happily dreaming about when i'm losing the weight, and how many things and situations that will be different in my life!!!

It's amazing, yet sad that so many people just don't ever understand, or think like we have to, because they aren't overweight. IT will be nice to have those worries off my mind!

LIKE IT! Know what you mean. I sat on a cloth folding chair today fishin, It was great! Didn't hurt like the tin one! Many years ago I had a cloth stool rip and dump me. The kids laughed so hard I thought they would throw up! I been scared to sit in that type of chair ever since! Now at nearly 100 pounds lighter I can!

LIKE, LIKE, LIKE.....hey Dailey Strength where is the like button? This is something that we all as overweight folks worry about. Now I am able to sit in any chair and even cross my leg while doing so....happy for you!!

I know what ya mean. I had to sit on this parial wicker bottom chair at my office during lunch on Friday and was worried it wouldn't hold my 126 pound body but it did. Old habits die hard.
