Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

I do not count the carbs in fruit only is starches.
Hope this helps
Good luck!
I have to say that I have adopted this philosophy as well. I am working hard not have a diet mentality about this whole thing. More trying to eat like a normal (thin) person.
I eat as much protein as I can, and then fill up with veggies... If I am at a party or social gathering I may add in some fruit, but I personally limit fruit because of the natural sugar... I do on occasion have an activia light with fruit...
I will eat strawberries, or blueberries for a special treat, but only if I have picked them, and very limited...
As far as fat... I shy away from it as much as possible... I pick very lean meats, and eat a lot of fish.... I do not have a magic number as my nut refuses to give me any... She said it becomes too much of a chore....
I try to look at eating as something enjoyable and healthy... That is hard for me, cause most of the time I could care less about eating... But I am finding that its not as hard as I thought it was....
